Willow Class

The Willow Class is a Nature Preschool style class named for the willow tree found along rivers, and that is where we can be found - along the Wenatchee River.

In this half day program we spend almost our entire time outside in Waterfront Park in Leavenworth, WA with our home base in the Red House, aka E. Lorane Young House (#2 on the map) at Wenatchee River Institute.

The Willow Class is intended for families who need to add a little more to their preschooler's life and/or need a few hours of parent-only time.  Register for any number and combination of days, buy a Class Pass with 10 "punches" to be used anytime through the school year or or drop in for a day!

WINTER SESSION - February/March

January 29 - March 29, 2018

In this 9 week session we let the many forms of water, snow and ice inspire creation of new art; we examine the changing season, the spring equinox, how the waking plants and animals change and how we can care for them as well as each other.

 April 2 - May 31, 2018

In this 9 week session we celebrate the growing season by planting our garden, wondering why the flow of the river changes, and building on our friendships.
