Why teachers love working here: Staff always work on a team with low teacher:child rations. They get to spend the majority of their day outside reaping the benefits of nature-immersion alongside their students. Evergreen staff enjoy facilitating class throughout the 320 acres of Tierra Learning Center that offer calming and restorative spaces, like the lavender field or hills of wild flowers in the Spring, for teachers to rest, relax, and rejuvenate during the breaks. Willow staff enjoy facilitating class along the river in downtown frequenting Barn Beach, the Community Garden, and the many trails and meadows nearby. All in all, we have fun together at work and during meetings. We also buy good coffee and have the most delicious potlucks.
