Waitlist FAQ

Can I join when I’m pregnant?

Yes. We now accept waitlist registrations for expecting families. Simply list your due date as DOB in the registration process. When your baby is born, please contact us within two months to update your baby’s DOB & name, if application. Your date of interest/date of registration will then be listed as the baby’s DOB.

When will I hear from you?

Each Spring, we email an enrollment interest form to all waitlisted families. If your child is too young to attend, simply ignore the email. You will remain on the waitlist and receive the same communication the following Spring. If you’re ready to pursue enroll, fill out the form and return it via email. The information provided through that form lets us know:
1. that you're still interested, 2. which program you're interested in, and 3. your preferred schedule. From there, we offer available spots to eligible families (kids must be 3 before the end of October) on the waitlist based on their position.

How many spots are available each year?

It depends on how many students graduate, but because we are a small program, we can only accept a limited number of new families each year. Many in our community stay enrolled for multiple years and are given priority for changing their child’s schedule/program each new school year. Additionally, staff and alumni families, assuming the kids are age-eligible, are given priority enrollment over the general waitlist, provided they joined the waitlist before January 1 of the year they intend to enroll.

Not yet enrolled? We invite you to join our Friday playgroup, Seedlings! You can register for seasonal sessions through the store, or simply drop in for $5/family. The playgroup is an opportunity to engage in outdoor, nature-based learning alongside your kid(s) and meet other young families in the Upper Valley. Seedlings is hosted in our Evergreen preschool backyard (Tierra location) and is a great way for your child to get comfortable with the preschool environment.
